Tempe, AZ & Stockholm, Sweden – The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (“Ita”) and Playreplay, Inc. Are pleased to announce a three -year partnership today to make electronic line to all divisions of College Tennis. PlayrePlay is the first and only electronic line support system that has been officially approved by the ITA for use in College Tennis. The PlayrePlay system is approved by the ITA as an assessment system (challenge) and can be used for use inside and outside, for singles and double play, and for non -selected, robed and chairman competitions.
This groundbreaking approval comes after PlayrePlay became the first system that obtains a silver classification for indoor and outdoor use of the International Tennis Federation (“ITF”) that are responsible for the accuracy tests between electronic line lunching systems. With the silver classification of the ITF and the formal approval of the ITA, PlayRplay is the only electronic line support system that has been authorized by both organizations.
For three years, PlayRplay will be the exclusive electronic line provider at various of the most prestigious ITA championships in both autumn and spring seasons. In the fall, playreplay will be used on the Ita Men’s and Women’s all-American Championships in Tulsa and Cary. In the meantime, the ITA Division I men’s and women’s National Team Indoor Championships will continue to use the PlayRplay system for all competitions in the spring.

Working with PlayrePlay during a year-long pilot during the College tennis season 2024-25, college tennis players and fans have already experienced the benefits of the PlayRplay Electronic Line Call system at the ITA National Team Indoor Championships, ITA Men’s All-American Championships.
During this pilot, the PlayRplay system was tested in both indoor and outdoor environments and consistently performed at the highest levels, regardless of the circumstances. PlayrePlay, used for more than 50 double competitions, has served as the electronic scheduled group system in more than 500 individual competitions in both singles and Doubles in the past year.
Based on the data from the pilot of the year and the success of the PlayRplay system, the ITA Rules Committee formally approved the use of electronic line group systems in College Tennis in May of ITA-AFFORE PROVIDERS. Under those new ITA rules, takeover and use of an ITA-approved ELC system during non-conference, conference or game after the season, the scope of the ITA member Host Institution, Conference Office and/or other administrative body (NCAA, NJCAA, CCCAA, etc.) remains remains.
ITA Senior Director of Officiating Anthony Montero said: “Electronic line groups, accuracy tested and classified by the ITF, represents a critical and innovative tool for college -tennis officials that ensure that the most accurate calls are made during university competitions and tournaments.
The ITA-Playreplay partnership stipulates that ITA member settings, at all play levels, receive the preferred prices for the PlayRplay system that they can use to install the system in their facility for double competitions, tournaments and practices daily.
With the help of a minimally intrusive camera solution, the PlayRplay system coaches offers much more than an electronic line offer system such as analyzes such as shots speed, court positioning, in/out percentage, and many other useful statistics can also be observed directly from the system.
