The airport authority of Israel announced on Sunday that it closed the airspace of the country for both incoming and outgoing flights in the aftermath of the American attacks in Iranian nuclear locations.

The agency said that air traffic had closed “due to recent developments” and did not say how long.

At the beginning of Sunday, the US hit three locations in Iran and introduced itself in Israel’s war aimed at destroying the country’s nuclear program in a risky gamble to weaken an old enemy, despite the fear of a broader regional conflict.

In the meantime, Iran said that there were “no signs of contamination” at his nuclear locations in Isfahan, Fordo or Natanz after American air strikes were aimed at the facilities.

Iranian state media quoted the National Nuclear Safety System Center of the country, which published an explanation that the radiation detectors had not registered radioactive release after the strikes.

“There is no danger to the residents who live around the above locations,” the explanation added.

Earlier Israeli air strikes in nuclear locations have no registered release of radioactive material in the environment around the facilities in the same way, said the International Atomic Energy Agency.

More so

In a dramatic military escalation, President Donald Trump confirmed that the US carried out precision air attacks on three important Iranian nuclear facilities Fordow, Natanz and Esfahan-with B-2 Stealth-bombers and 30,000 pounds Bunker Buster bombs.
