He is being touted as one of the big signings for the young R360 and ex-NRL winger Zac Lomax could waste all the huge money the much-hyped rugby league is throwing away there.
Lomax spectacularly quit the Parraamatta Eels last week, just one year into his four-year contract, amid growing speculation that he could become a major R360 signee and even collect the big money that could be on sale in European Rugby.
According to reports, Lomax could earn as much as $1.5 million a year. A significant upgrade from the approximately $650,000 a year he earned at Parramatta.
That’s a lot of money. Lots more money to splash.

And it looks like the 26-year-old knows how to spend it.
The former St George Illawarra and Parramatta star has just dropped around $4 million on a spectacular oceanfront home in his old hometown of Wollongong.
Lomax dropped the huge coin on an old three-bedroom house that sits on a massive 1,005 sq ft.
The Barrack Point home in the south of the city offers fantastic ocean views and is ripe for development. It seems like Lomax could make a lot of money on the development front if he plays his cards right.
The Barrack Point house is in a great spot.
However, it is a bit tired inside.
Ocean views from almost every room.
“Situated in the most spectacular location on the south coast, the house has an unparalleled presence on the headland of Barrack Point, where the ocean stretches endlessly before you and coastal beauty surrounds you from every angle.”, says the listing for the house.
“This rare plot of approximately 1005m² of prime blue chip land offers an extraordinary opportunity to secure one of the most coveted addresses in the region.
“With its expansive proportions, sun-drenched interiors and uninterrupted views, the home is perfectly ready for you to add your own touches, creating a bespoke coastal retreat that reflects your style.

“Perfectly positioned, you are just moments from the calm swimming waters of Little Lake, the golden sands of Warilla Beach and the vibrant Shell Cove Marina with its waterfront restaurants and boutique shopping.
“Whether it’s a morning surf, a sunset stroll along the coast or a cup of coffee overlooking the harbour, the best of coastal living is right on your doorstep.

“This is more than a property: it’s a front-row seat to nature’s theater, where every sunrise is yours to keep and every wave is a reminder that you live in a special place.”
The house, which was on the market for 58 days, last sold in 1999 for $480,000.
This most recent sale and listing took place through Amanda Bonnici at Ray White Shellharbour.
