‘Investigation Shark Attack’ by National Geographic investigates the science behind a shark bite

“Sharkfest” dives deep with a new series and some breathtaking science.

The Fan-favorite event of National Geographic is Wilder than ever this year. With more than 25 hours of original programming, “Sharkfest” never serves previously seen visual material, groundbreaking research and new perspectives on shark-tacular new perspectives.

Taken on the red carpet with marine experts Dr. Mike Heithaus and Candace Fields, stars of the new six -part series “Investigation Shark Attack”. The series dives into real people -Shark -Meetings -but instead of telling the stories from a human lens, he turns the script around.

“We look at it from the perspective of the shark,” said Dr. Heithaus. “When a shark examines something, they use their mouths. Even a soft investigation of a large shark can be devastating to a person.”

The show brings top scientists from the whole world together and investigates what drives these top predators to strike and how science can help to keep both sharks and people safe.

“” Sharkfest “gives you a little bit of everything,” Fields added. “It’s exciting, it pulls you in – and it’s instructive.”

The series brings more than just sharks to the foreground, it brings scientists together.

“The other thing that is great is that he plays that people are enthusiastic to see, not only we at the table, but all these great scientists who come in with their local knowledge. So we are really able to share the latest information with people and the people in the front line to keep this work to keep sharks and people safe,” Dr. said Heithaus.
