The only blemish on Trey Yesavage’s start was a home run by Enrique Hernández. However, the Jays answered that it was their next time-up, as Daulton Varsho hit a triple and Ernie Clement knocked him in with a sacrifice fly.

Yesavage continued to get outs, but the Jays got some breathing room in the seventh inning. With runners ‘on the corners’ Guerrero Jr. a walk, but the pitch was wild, allowing Addison Barger to score. Then, with runners on first and second base, Bo Bichette drove in another run to give the Jays a 5-1 lead. They then added a sixth in the top of the eighth inning, leading to the 6-1 victory.

The Jays put up more runs, allowing them to win the World Series on Friday.

Ernie Clement, Isiah Kiner-Falefa, Daulton Varsho, Alejandro Kirk and Bo Bichette all had hits as well. As for their bullpen, the Jays got an inning out of Seranthony Domínguez, as well as two strikeouts and a scoreless inning from Jeff Hoffman.
It all comes down to this. On Friday night, the Blue Jays will get their first of two chances to bring the World Series back to Canada. The game starts at 8:00 PM ET, with Kevin Gausman starting for the Jays and Yoshinobu Yamamoto for the Dodgers.
