As buyers look for modern homes, more space and a great sense of community, Fraser Rise in Melbourne’s northwest is increasingly on their radar.
Located next to Caroline Springs and Taylors Hill, buyers of Fraser Rise will benefit from the established amenities of those areas and the wider growth of the west.
“Melbourne’s west has been Victoria’s fastest growing region over the past decade, with affordability and new infrastructure supporting continued buyer demand,” said Anne Flaherty, economist at realestate.com.au.
Fraser Rise has seen a 23% increase in land searches on realestate.com.au in the past year.
Key to Fraser Rise’s transformation is a brand new lifestyle-focused community, Association 1056from YourLand Developments.
Andrew Jones, Head of Development, Communities at YourLand, says there are approximately 1,200 new homes and land opportunities available on 93 hectares.
“It’s part of YourLand’s larger vision to create communities that prioritize people, wellness and lasting value,” he says.
A clubhouse for life
At the heart of Society 1056 is the recently announced Society 1056 Clubhouse, which brings to life YourLand’s goals of putting residents first.
Ngaio Chalmers, community and culture partner at ClarkeHopkinsClarke Architects, the experts behind the design, says the clubhouse is guided by the pillars of connection, wellbeing and sustainability.
“It offers spaces designed to meet, relax and reconnect with people and nature,” she says.
The clubhouse takes full advantage of natural light, natural materials and greenery to create a tranquil, inviting space.
“This intention is reflected throughout the building and in details such as the inviting lobby, earthy and grounding materials throughout, reflective moments such as the tea station and framed views of the green space,” she says.
Well-being and connection come first
Living a healthy lifestyle is made easy in the clubhouse, with its extensive amenities including a swimming pool, gym, sauna and yoga and pilates studio.
For ultimate relaxation, it has a magnesium spa and sauna.
Meanwhile, sports fields, cricket nets, and areas for basketball and pickleball are all family-friendly.
“Residents will be able to meet their daily needs here and will regularly encounter neighbors and friends,” Ms Chalmers said.
People who work remotely will enjoy the stylish co-working space and everyone can make the most of the meeting rooms.
“Residents will have the flexibility to work from home or a more social shared space, saving valuable travel time and allowing for a better work-life balance and more time with family and friends,” she says.
The BBQ area in the clubhouse is the perfect place to gather with friends and family for a meal.
There is also a tool shed where people can borrow materials for jobs in and around the house.
Featuring sports courts, a pool, a gym and more, the clubhouse helps Society 1056 residents live an active lifestyle.
Sustainable design for the future
In addition to the focus on the well-being of the residents, the clubhouse design is also focused on sustainability for the future.
A planted roof and a seamless transition to the surrounding biodiversity ensure that the building feels at one with nature.
“The integration of earthy materials such as brick into architecture promotes a sense of tranquility and well-being,” says Ms Chalmers.
The building uses natural ventilation and solar energy and has a special charging station for electric vehicles.
“We have reduced water use by capturing rainwater and reusing gray water, minimizing waste and exploring how to use recycled materials as much as possible,” she says.
The decision to create a sustainable clubhouse reflects the broader focus on sustainability in Society 1056.
All homes must be fully electric and solar powered, and have light-coloured roofs to reduce the ‘heat island’ effect.
The clubhouse was designed as part of Society 1056’s broader commitment to sustainability.
A location on the rise
The mix of buyers who recognize the benefits of FraserS The Rise and the Society 1056 community consists of first home buyers, local upgraders and investors.
There are also several multi-generational families who wanted to create a community home, as well as siblings who wanted to buy properties near each other.
“The spaces are designed with community connection in mind, so there are always opportunities to connect in a planned or spontaneous way,” says Ms Chalmers.
Buyers will also benefit from a proposed local primary school and new shops, existing nearby bus and train transport and 9 hectares of green open space.
The next release of Society 1056 is available now, with homes ranging from 176 sqm to 558 sqm, with lot prices starting from $276,000*.
