Indian Overseas Bank (IOB), established in Chennai, has announced a distance of distance from criminal costs for non-maintenance of minimum average balance (MAB) in its savings account (SB-Public), in force from 1 October 2025.
The decision is intended to offer customers an exemption and makes the banking experience easier.
“We are very happy to announce this statement from a distance, which will considerably relieve our account holders. This decision reflects our dedication to customer focus and financial inclusion. Our goal is to make banking more convenient and trouble -free for our customers,” said Ajay Kumar Srivastava, Managing Director & CEO, Indian Interany Bank.
The bank had already apart from minimum balance for schemes such as PMJDY, BSBDA, Small Accounts, IOB SB Salary Package, IOB Sixty Plus, IOB SB Pensioner Scheme and IOB SB GOVT account.
The criminal costs for Premium Savings accounts-included SB-Max, SB-HNI, SB Prime, SB Priority, SB Privilege, Nri Elevate, NRI Privilege and NRI signature remain unchanged.
The costs for the period up to September 30, 2025, including each deficit, will still be levied according to existing rules.
