Celebrating over a quarter of a century of making motorcycles, Indian Motorcycle has launched the limited edition 125th Anniversary collection. The lineup consists of the Chief Vintage 125th Anniversary Edition, Scout Bobber 125th Anniversary Edition and Indian Challenger 125th Anniversary Edition.
The Chief Vintage 125th Anniversary Edition comes in a limited edition of 250 pieces and is a cruiser decorated in the ‘old style’. The Chief Vintage harkens back to the heyday of Indian Motorcycle in the 1940s/50s and is equipped with Indian’s Thunderstroke 116 1,890 cc V-twin, which produces 156 Nm of torque.

Unmachined black cylinders and silver-painted cylinder heads and pushrod tubes give the Chief Vintage a distinct, historic look. This is complemented by exclusive 125th anniversary badges and a model-specific stitched seat.
The Chief Vintage includes the Challenger 125th Anniversary Edition, based on the Indian Challenger races in the American V-Twin Baggers racing series. A fairing-mounted front fairing and hard saddlebags give the Challenger the “bagger” nickname, while the liquid-cooled PowerPlus 112 V-twin comes with overhead camshafts and four valves per cylinder.

Like the Chief Vintage 125th Anniversary Edition, the Challenger 125th Anniversary Edition comes with exclusive badging and a custom-stitched pillion seat in honor of the 125th anniversary. The limited edition Indian Challenger features PowerBand Audio, polished floorboards for rider and passenger and illuminated shifters, making it the flagship of the collection.
Rounding out the trio of Indian anniversary edition motorcycles is the Scout Bobber 125th Anniversary Edition, with a solo seat and a stripped-down look. The liquid-cooled 1,250 cc SpeedPlus V-twin produces 111 hp, and only 450 Scout Bobber 125th Anniversary Edition models will be made for international sales.

Standard are short fenders and eight-spoke precision-machined wheels, in keeping with the purposeful styling of the Scout Bobber 125th Anniversary Edition. Also standard is Indian Motorcycle’s 101mm touchscreen display, which allows riders to view important bike information, connect via Bluetooth and personalize their ride with gauge configurations and selectable riding modes.
