India will soon be received in India chip for the first time, said Prime Minister Narendra Modi. “The semiconductor mission takes pace, and the country will soon roll out in India chip soon,” said Prime Minister Modi, inaugurated the yellow line of Bengaluru metro on Sunday.
Modi called Bengaluru the symbol of a new India and described the unique identity of the city as a combination of Tatva Gyaan (philosophical knowledge) and technical gyaan (technological knowledge). He has credited the innovation ecosystem of the city and the youth of Karnataka for contributing to national performance, including defense successes such as Operation Sindhoor.
The Prime Minister also put the first stone for Phase-3 (Oranje Line) from Namma Metro. Once completed, the orange and yellow lines together will serve 25 Lakh passengers daily, which illuminates the traffic congestion of the city. He insisted on the state and the center to work together on Viksit Bharat, while encouraging young people to stimulate the vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat.
Minister of Housing and Urban Affairs, Minister of Urban Affairs, Manohar Lal Khattar underlined the traffic crisis of Bengaluru and noted that the population of 1.4 crore and almost 1.2 crore vehicles- almost one per person an enormous pressure on the road infrastructure. “Bengaluru becomes number two after Delhi Metro,” he said.
Minister of Union Railway Ashwini Vaishnaw pointed to Karnataka’s improved railway allocations- from £ 835 crore before 2014 to £ 7,500 crore nu- by £ 54,000 crore of projects currently in the state.
