‘Our desire to be left alone, not answered by another side’
Mr. Tharoor also hit Pakistan against their continuous attack on Indian territory through terrorism.
Mr. Tharoor said to the Indian community in Panama: “Unfortunately, our desire to just be left alone is not led to by our friends on the other side of the border. They have repeatedly chosen us to attack us because they believe they want the territory, which we do not control.
He said that India has been attacking after attack for almost four decades and that it is not acceptable for us to keep bearing the pain.

“We have now had almost four decades of attack after attack. While we returned from the first attacks in Kashmir in 1989, we have seen repeated shameful civilian victims,” Tharoor said.
“It’s just not acceptable for us to continue to carry the pain, the sorrow, wounds, the losses, the losses and then only to tell the international community, see what happens to us. Please help us. Place the perpetrators under pressure to actually identify and continue the criminals,” he added.
Mr Tharoor also emphasized India’s changed position in dealing with the terrorists, with reference to URI strikes when Indian armed forces crossed to touch the terrorists and Balakot struck when the forces exceeds the international limit.

“What has changed in recent years is that the terrorists have also realized that they have a price to pay, leaves no doubt about it. When India first broken the line of control between India and Pakistan to have a surgical attack on a terror base, a launching platform was not done before 2015. This time we not only crossed the line of control, but also the international border, and we have said the terrorist headquarters in Balakot.
Mr. Tharoor insisted on the need for Operation Sindoor after Pahalgam terror attack and said: “Some women killed the terrorists who also killed me and said,” No, go back, tell what happened to you. “We heard, we heard their cries and India decided that the color of the Sindoor, the Vermilion color on the forehead of our women, also the color of the blood of the murderers, the perpetrators, the attackers, the attackers will match …”
“Our prime minister made it very clear that Operation Sindoor was necessary because these terrorists came and wiped the Sindoor of the forehead of 26 women by depriving them from their spouses and fathers, their married life …” he added.
A moment of silence was observed in memory of the innocent citizens who were killed in the terror attack of Pahalgam by Tharor’s delegation together with members of the Indian community in the Sociedad Hindostana de Panama – a prominent Panamanian Cultural Institute.
