The hunt for India on a sponsor of a sweater has ended because Apollo Tyres is set up as the new sponsor on the side, after the Exit of Dream11 after the introduction of the Online Gaming Act in 2025.
Team India was previously sponsored by Dream11; However, their deal was canceled immediately after the government had introduced their promotion and regulation of the Online Gaming Act 2025, which largely influenced the brand and its activities. Since then, the BCCI went looking for fresh sponsors.
India is currently playing in the Asia Cup, but they entered the continental championship without a sponsor after the Exit of Dream11. In the midst of the championship, the Indian team signed the deal.

According to reports in the Times of India, Apollo Tyres becomes the sponsor of the Indian team of New Jersey. They will shoot approximately 4.5 crore per game, increased considerably compared to the previous INR 4 crore per game, who used to pay Dream11.
The sponsorship period is set to run from 2025 to 2027, with no fewer than 130 games in that period for the Indian team. According to the same report, Canva and JK tires were among the other bidders who came to the table.
The bidding process was underway and the new sponsors were completed on September 16. On 2 September, the BCCI had invited bids for interest of interest for the title sponsorship rights of the Indian team.
The Indian Cricket Board, BCCI, made it clear that gaming, gambling, crypto and tobacco brands were forbidden to offer. Manufacturers of Athleisure and sportswear, banking, financial companies, non-alcoholic cold drinks, fans, mixer sliders, safety locks and insurance companies were also not eligible.

India is currently playing in the Asia Cup and is grouped next to Pakistan, De Vae and Oman in group A. India won the first match against the United Arab Emirates on Commando Mode, because they saw a walk in their Run rate.

The new sponsors, Apollo tires, can be seen as the sponsor of Jersey for the upcoming events for India, although the new sweaters still have to be revealed.
