Transfer News journalist Fabrizio Romano has delivered an update about the future of Andre Onana while he seems to complete his departure from Manchester United.
The Cameroon International was probably now traveling to Turkey in the next 24 hours to put the finishing touches to his loan movement to Trabzonspor.
According to Romano, Onana will travel with his agent to complete his seasonal move to Trabzonspor, without purchase option or loan costs that are included as part of the deal.

Romano posted: “André Onana will travel to Turkey in the next 24 hours together with his agent! Plan confirmed: he will be a new Trabzonspor player on loan from Man United until June 2026. No purchase option or loan costs.”
Andre Onana certainly has no future at Manchester United
It is difficult to imagine that Onana will come back to play again for United as soon as this loan agreement comes to an end.
Even if this is just a loan movement, the Athletic Report that it is considered very unlikely that the Red Devil’s keeper will play for the club again.
Onana has been an important flop for United, making a series of expensive individual mistakes that will probably leave him with the unwanted legacy of one of the worst keepers in the club.
Senne Lammens’s replaces Onan?
MUFC recently signed Senne Lammens and they will hope he can shine as the new number one of Ruben Amorim.
The highly regarded young Belgian looks like he could be an astute signing, but in some respects it is also a risk because he still has to test himself at the highest level.
Onana arrived at United with much more experience after shining in Inter Milan, but turned out to be a bad signature, so we will have to see how Lammens adapts to the expectations of representing such a large club.
