Dominika Cibulkova’s divorce and her new romance dominate the headlines in Slovakia. The former WTA star has confirmed that she and her husband, Michal Navara, have split. But there’s another layer of shock to the story, as the 36-year-old retired athlete has already moved on. dating an old family friend who also happened to be a business partner of her soon-to-be ex-husband.
The man in question is 43-year-old entrepreneur Tibor Vinczea well-known figure within Cibulkova’s social circle. Vincze is known in the Slovak elite scene as the owner of a company that supplies sound and lighting for large events. However, his ties to Cibulkova’s family go back at least a year. Photos of her daughter Nina’s lavish second birthday party in March 2025, Vincze and his own wife will be shown alongside Cibulkova and Navara.
Around the same time, Navara and Vincze expanded their relationship beyond friendship and formed a business partnership. According to data from the Bratislava Trade Register, they founded BAGETA 89 sro, a company in the buffet and catering sector. Vincze took on the role of CEO and Navara seemed to have full confidence in his partner.
Their camaraderie was reflected not only professionally but also personally as images emerged of the two men with children on their shoulders, highlighting a bond rooted in both family life and shared business ambitions.
However, this collaboration came to an abrupt end on September 26, 2025, when Vincze resigned as general manager of the company. Soon after, rumors of trouble in the Cibulkova-Navara marriage began to circulate.
