Monterey Car Week is not short on Showstoppers, but Hennessey just stole the spotlight with something that nobody saw arriving-a 2,031 hp, manual hypercar with six gears that exists in exactly one example. Meet the Hennessey Venom F5 Revolution LF, a one -off committee that is partly rolling sculpture, partly mechanical madness and 100 percent American excess.
This one -off creation is the Launchpad for Hennessey’s brand new tailor -made division, Maverick, which will build the most extreme, personalized versions of the Al Bonkers Venom F5 of the Texas brand by hand. And if the LF is an indication, the mission of Maverick is to deliver hypercars so much so wildly that they even make the most exclusive production models look in mass-produced.
A manual Hennessey Venom F5 LF
The LF was commissioned by the American entrepreneur and collector Louis Florey, who personally specified every detail – from the aerodynamic deception to the exposed Cocoa Brown Carbon Fiber. The goal was simple: build the most analogue, driver -oriented and downright insane gif F5 so far. The result is the most expensive, most complex and highest special F5 ever made.
Instead of simply adjusting the paint, Florey and Hennessey started with a completely new monocoque carbon fiber designed around a very important addition: a gated six -speed gearbox hands transmission. Yes, in an era of everything with double clutch, you can row your own gears with this Hypercar while you can channel more than 2,000 hp from Hennessey’s Twin-Turbo 6.6-liter Fury V8.
Power, Aero and an evolutionary jump
Although the manual gearbox is the showpiece of the LF, it is far from the only upgrade. The LF has the latest evolution package from Hennessey, with an example of the Aero and Suspension setup of the next generation Venom F5. The new front splitter, reformed diving aircraft, sculpted Fender Lamellen and larger rear wing are all functional, designed to keep this open-top rocket planted whether the roof is on or off.
This includes the LF revised suspension geometry and comfort improvements – “comfort” is relative if you hold a rocket of more than 2,000 hps. The new chassis improves the stiffness and ergonomics of the driver, with a redesigned pedal box and footwell space to make room for the coupling.
A design that is just as obsessive as the engineering
Visually the LF is also different from all other F5. The exposed carbon fiber with cocoa has a rich, almost metallic heat, in contrast with metallic paint accents and a Body-Color Tri line. The carbon tissue is perfectly connected along the center line, a detail that speaks to both craftsmanship and borderline obsession.
Inside, the cabin is an ode to mechanical connection. The H-pattern Shifter is milled from solid aluminum, which is proudly in the center console like a piece of fine watching. Every switch, toggle and button has been redesigned with details of the horology, glows gently at night thanks to luminous infill. Even the parking brake lever has been edited to deliver a bolt-action rifle feeling. It is the kind of tactile detail that you rarely see on a multi-million dollar coach built projects, which is actually what it is.
The birth of the Maverick Division
The LF is a statement of what the new Maverick division of Hennessey can do. With this ultra-determined program, a small number of customers can collaborate directly with the engineers and designers of the brand to make their own Venom F5 visions, from wild paint schedules to completely new mechanical components. If you can dream it, Maverick will try to build it.
“Our new ‘Maverick’ division enables our customers to bring our American Hypercar to a totally new dimension. I see it as the ultimate expression of the American dream.” – John Hennessey
The evolution of the Hennessey Venom F5 Revolution also makes its debut
In addition to the LF, Hennessey also unveiled the Venom F5 Revolution Evolution, the production version of its 2,031 hp monster. This Next-Gen F5 gets the same evolution-upgrades-lake downforce, adaptive suspension, a renewed interior and becomes the standard for all future builds. Existing owners can even after their cars with the new specification, because when you are dealing with four-digit horsepower, “up-to-date” is non-negotiable.
Finally worth a hypercar
The Venom F5 LF is a rare memory that is still room for mechanical madness even in the era of electric hypercars and autonomous technology. It is not just about figures – although 2,031 hp and a gated shifter is about as outrageous as it gets – it is about creating something deeply personal.
This former is the purest example so far from the conviction of Hennessey that a hypercar should be more than just fast; It should feel like an expansion of his driver. And with the Maverick Division now open to the business world, it is impossible to say what wild, uncompromising creations will follow.
If the LF is an indication, the future of the American Hypercar is not only fast – it is personal, unapologetic and built by people who still think that the coupling pedal is sacred.
