Imetal Resources Inc. (TSXV: IMR, OTC: IMRFF) (OTCQB: IMRFF) (FSE: A7VA) (“Imetal” or the “company”) is pleased to announce that it started with the 2025 Phase I Drill program in the Gowganda West (“GW”) project. The drilling will be focused on IMGW23-04, the Spring 2023 Discovery Hole of 48.5 m of 0.85 GT AU from 316.5 m (see news item from 2023-Jun-06).
A program of approximately 2,000 meters is planned with 4 to 6 holes that must be drilled to test the discovery zone along the strike and dip and also to test for extra tires of mineralization in the foot wall. Diaphor Inc. Van Rivine-Heva, Quebec will be the Drill Program and Laurentia Exploration Inc. Van Jonqiere, Quebec, will perform technical and geological supervision.

The Gowganda West building houses a large package of gold potential Timisking -metas ediments, about 7 km in strike and up to 5 km wide, which all gold mineralization is discovered on the building so far. Successive drilling programs that go to the southwest, continued to cross increasing change and gold values in suspected NW trending zones and lead directly to the IMGW23-04 Discovery Hole. The golden interval of 48.5 m is characterized by a coarse -grained to conglomerate the size of a boulder, with moderate to penetrating silicon change associated with a large intermediate Mafisch dike. There seems to be a strong correlation between the intensity of the silicon change and increased gold figures.
Gowganda West is a gold project of the exploration stage of about 100 km southeast of Timmins, Ontario; consecutively on the Juby Deposits project of McFarlane Lake Mining Mining in the radiant tree camp of the southern part of the Abitibi Greenstone Gold Belt; And also continuous on the KNIGHT project that is part of the strategic partnership between OREFINDERS Resources Inc. and Agnico Eagle Mines Ltd. Imetal’s autumn 2022 and the drilling program of the spring of 2023 were successful in crossing new gold trends in the SW section of the real estate. The property also has several ounce grab samples of trends that still have to be tested.
