Recent reports suggest that Ilia Topuria’s ex-wife Giorgina Uzcategui has named Joe Rogan in her complaint to police for online abuse.
For context, Giorgina had filed a police complaint (with the National Police) due to the online threats and messages she had received during the divorce proceedings. Topuria is also out of combat and will not enter the fray octagon in the first quarter of 2026.
As reported by EL MUNDO newspaper, Giorgina mentioned Joe Rogan in her complaint to the police because of Rogan’s comments about Giorgina. The UFC commentator fell for a fake image of Ilia Topuria’s ex-wife with a British rapper. The original image was a photo of Giorgina with her brotherwhich the former posted on Instagram. An Internet user photoshopped the selfie and swapped Giorgina’s brother’s face with that of a British rapper.

What exactly did Joe Rogan say?
On his podcastthe longtime UFC commentator fell for the fake image of Giorgina Uzcategui with a British rapper. Not knowing the image was fake, Rogan lunged at Giorgina Uzcategui. He said:
“She takes pictures with rappers and sh*t and puts it on Instagram. You know how they do it. They try to steal your soul… Hell knows no fury like a woman scorned. This is the mother of your children, and this lady is a monster, and she’s trying to get custody… I don’t know if it’s psychologically duped or not. If so, the house will burn down once she’s not on your side.”
He added:
“You’ve connected with a man who is an incredibly special human being, the rarest of the rare. Not just a UFC world champion, but a two-division world champion, a superstar, who wants to see the world. And you’re his wife. So you say, ‘Oh, look at me, I’m married to the worst motherfucker in the world. And then he doesn’t want to be with you anymore. ‘Oh, really, I’m going to take you down.’ And women, they love that. Destruction of reputation. That’s what they’re really experts at when things go sideways.
