Ichiro has a Hall of Fame spirit and on the field.

The old Seattle Mariner did not held back during his Hall of Fame acceptance speech on Sunday and called the Lone Baseball Writers’ Association voter who did not record him on his or her mood, despite his historical career performance.

Ichiro headed the 2025 class and shared the Cooperstown podium with CC Sabathia and Elite Reliever Billy Wagner, while the legendary players Dick Allen and Dave Parker were inaugurated posthumously.

Ichiro was selected on his first vote with a sweeping 99.7 percent of the voice share and collected 393 of 394 votes.

The performance also makes Ichiro the first in Asian in Asian Hall of Fame Inductee.

During 19 MLB seasons, Ichiro 3,089 major League hits with a career -stroke average of a sizzling .311, as well as 509 stolen bases, 10 gold gloves, three Silver Slugger Awards and two Batting titles.

The single-season record of Ichiro from 262 hits in 2004 is still still today.

The 242 hits of Ichiro as Rookie in 2001 are also 10th of all time and second after 1930 that season he won both MVP and Rookie of the year in the American League.

He also reached 10 consecutive All-Star games to start his career, an MLB record.

From the speech of Ichiro, the writer who left him off the mood and kept him from becoming the second unanimous first mood of Famer, remained anonymous.

Mariano Rivera received a perfect 425 of 425 votes for his first bid from Hall of Fame in 2019.

Ichiro’s 99.7 percent connects Derek Jeter for second place.
