Pensacola, FL chief coach Jeremy Gates and the Pensacola Ice Flyers have agreed to the conditions for the 2025-26 season with forward Zack Bross.
“We are enthusiastic that Zack is coming to Pensacola. He has a high hockey -IQ and offers a veteran -presence to his play and our dressing room. The leadership that he offers our team on and out of the ice is just a reason why Justin and I are enthusiastic about training camp to start,” said head coach Jeremy Gates.
Bross, a 6’0 ”right-handed attacker, joins the ice flyers after his time in France2 with Strasbourg. Last season he posted 39 points (13g, 26a) over 41 games, including 16 points (5G, 11a) during the 13-game play-off run of Strasbourg.
Before Bross was on his way abroad, he started his university career in Umass Boston and then went to Long Island University, where he was appointed captain in his final year. After his collegial career, Bross played in the Echl with the Worcester Railers.
Now returning to the United States, Zack Bross brings his skills and international experience back to the ice flyers. When asked what Ice Flyers Nation should expect from him as a player, Bross did not hesitate:
“A player with a lead. I have fun to get under the skin of people and love nothing more than a hit or to score a goal and then smile and laugh all the way back to the couch.”
