Summary
I use the Outlook Web shipping function to plan E -mails that must be sent in the future at the specified time and date.
To plan an e-mail, open Outlook Web, sign up with your account, click on “New e-mail”, prepare the e-mail, click the Down-Palrow icon to send and choose “Send schedule”.
To view or change planned e -mails, open Outlook web and gain access to the “Druk” folder.
The e -mails that I now send will be sharp in the inboxes of my recipients at 9 am. Not because I wake up early, but because I learned to use the schedule in Outlook Web.
How the schedule of Outlook Web shipping function provided that my e -mails arrived on time
Until recently, my e -mails went out on random hours. Sometimes I would write and send e -mails at 3 o’clock in the morning. Other times it would be 11 hours. Notice something? Yes, inconsistency.
Fortunately I found the schedule -shipping function in Outlook Web. With this position I can write an e -mail whenever I want, but it would only send that e -mail on the date and time I chose. In this way my e -mails were organized more and seemed more professional. It also helped me with a few other situations, as discussed in the Use cases section below.
How to plan an e -mail in Outlook Web
To plan an e-mail that must be sent later in Outlook Web, you do not need access to third-party tools. The function to plan E -mails is straight in the web app itself; All ready for you to use.
Launch to access it Outlook Web And log in to your account. Then click in the top left corner of the site button “New e-mail” to put together a new e-mail.
You will see the usual new e -mail window where you can compose your e -mail. Enter the usual fields here, such as the subject and e -Maillet body. Feel free to also give up the CC and BCC fields.
After writing the e-mail, click next to the Send button at the top of the Down-Palrow icon and choose “Send schedule”. Make sure you do not click Send or Outlook Web send your e -mail immediately.
You will see the Send schedule with a few pre-filled timings. You can choose one of these options or register your own by clicking on “Custom Time”.
If you have clicked on the adjusted time, you will see the adjusted date and time window set. Select the date and time at which you want Outlook to send your e -mail. Then click the “Send” button.
Outlook now sends your pre-composed e-mail on your chosen date and time. You do not have to be logged in to your account or even Outlook -Web on your computer; Outlook sends your e -mail anyway.
How planned e -mails in Outlook web to view and change
If you want to view the e -mails that you have planned or want to change the planned e -mails before Outlook sends them, follow these steps.
Access Outlook Web And log in to your account. In the folder list, under Inbox, click on “Draphics”. You will now see all your planned and prepared e -mails.
To change a planned e -mail, click the E -mail on the list. You will see the usual window e -mailcompose where you can change the content of the E -mail. After you have made changes, click the “Send” button at the top. (Don’t worry, click Send does not send the e -mail; it simply saves the changes that you have made in your e -mail.)
To change the date and time of a planned e-mail, then click on the Down-Arrow icon and choose “Send schedule”.
If you no longer want to send a planned e -mail and you want to cancel the task, float in the folder in that e -mail and click on the Prash Can icon. Outlook will delete this e -mail.
User cases include sending memories and the exhaust of batch -mmails
If you happen to be something other than me, that means that you are not too late to send e -mails, there are other usuals of the schedule -shipping function of Outlook.
A use is to send memories or follow-ups the next morning. You can remind people of their duties or follow their questions by planning your e -mails in advance. If you send batch -e -mails, you can send those e -mails using the planning function. In this way your e -mails will be sent with the specified interval.
You can also use this function to wish people on their birthdays. You can plan all birthday -emails at the same time and Outlook Web ensure that your messages are sent at the right time. This applies to celebrating people on their birthday and other similar events. Note that you can also add files to your e -mails if you want to send an online card or something like that.
And so I made sure that my e -mails arrived in the inboxes of the recipients at the exact time I wanted. This helped me to keep things on my side organized. Enjoy!
