One of these is access to Brave’s search engine, which prioritizes higher quality results with fewer advertisements and sponsored results compared to Google Search. But because I have continued to use brave searches on different devices, I also realized something else: AI compilations don’t have to be terrible.

Google’s AI overviews are full of errors

Andy Walker / Android Authority
There are several reasons why I avoid most generative AI tools, but an important is the accuracy of chatbot reactions. Google’s AI overviews promotes this problem perfectly; Since their implementation, the summaries have often given me incorrect information.
The first obvious example of this was when I did research whether chronic migraine was counted as a prescribed minimum advantage (PMB) in South Africa. These are disorders that have to cover medical devices and I struggled to find current information about this. Google has given an AI overview stating that the condition is a PMB, but linked to an empty page that had no information for the quote. While I continued to investigate, including discussing the subject with my neurologist, I confirmed that the information is incorrect. I was able to replicate the response for weeks, with the AI compensation recently only had an accurate response.
AI compensation have become viral several times for incorrect reactions.
The AI compensation wrongly presented information about some of the games that I play, as well as a procedure that my cat has to undergo this month. These results are always supplied with quotes, even if the linked item does not actually contain this information. For example, when I looked up or a cystocentesis on a cat shaving the stomach, the AI response stated that it can hold this step. I clicked on the quote to view the YouTube video to which was linked, but the shaving of the stomach was not mentioned once.
I tried to replicate the error when writing this, but saw that the AI no longer links to the YouTube video in the procedure. However, it still says that shaving the abdomen is often recommended, although the linked sources only state that some vets can choose to do this.
When I was looking for information about removing the split -reporting panel in Magicos, it is linked to one Android Authority Article about one user interface. It still gives inaccurate information about this and advises me to use the Honor Health app or to completely disable notifications for apps. In one case it is linked to a YouTube video on one onion.

In addition, changing the order of words in one way or another influences the accuracy of the answers, despite the use of exactly the same search terms. So one person can get a better answer than the other, depending on which word they used first. The answers sometimes also differ for repeated searches with the same terms.
Brave Search summarized improvement the experience considerably

You may wonder why I decided to use Brave’s AI compilations if I trust so little in these tools. The truth is that I initially eliminated it. But when I changed devices, my settings did not pass and I was greeted again by these AI answers. Because of forgetfulness and general delay, I left them behind.
While I continued to use brave search as one of my essential Android widgets, I actually started to find these summaries useful. They have a lot of quotes and contextualization and can even recommend apps to try based on Reddit messages.
The summaries of Brave have many quotes and contextualization from sources with high authority.
I have not yet encountered a mistake with the summaries of Brave Search. At the same time, while Google still classified chronic migraine as PMB, Brave was able to confirm that this is not the case. When you look up or a veterinary cystocentesis shaves the cat’s belly, the summary has correctly determined that some veterinarians choose to do this, while others don’t. It also added the context that the vet can choose to do this if an ultrasound is involved – which will be the case for my cat’s procedure.
Even when it comes to investigating events in Ark: Survival evolvedThe game that I currently play the most, Brave gives the superior answers. Chrome says that the specific weather I am looking for, “about every 30 minutes or more” happens. On the other hand, Brave Map notes that it is a rare event and that it is generated randomly, without a certain interval. I have confirmed this for the past two nights, because I spent a total of about five or six hours on the map where this event takes place, with a heat wave that only happens once.

When it comes to Die Magicos -Split -Reporting Query, Brave correctly identifies that there is no native way to return to a combined reporting view in newer versions of the operating system.
In addition to the quality of the answers, Brave’s summaries encourage me to visit the quoted sources. This is due to the frequent quotes for specific explanations, as well as the wide range of sources that it uses – including medical articles. For his app compilations I can continue and explore the sources it offers and do further research into the items it mentions.
If you want lists and concise options, you may not be able to enjoy Brave’s summaries much. They include a lot of context and often do not mark specific parts of the text. But I prefer to read a longer reaction that includes more context than a concise but inaccurate answer.
If the summary quality of Brave decreases, I can always switch off the function

Another advantage of Brave’s AI compilations is that they are optional. Although enabled by default, you can choose to completely switch off the function. On the other hand, Google makes people temporary solutions to prevent AI overviews.
If Brave’s searchers ever decrease in quality, I can easily switch off the function. But even with all its mistakes, Google continues to push AI generated answers to searches, including the introduction of the AI mode. My current temporary solution to remove from Google AI overviews is to add the term “-ai” to the search. But I am not sure how long this will remain viable.
Although Brave is my primary browser on my smartphone, I still make the switch on my PC, because I still have to import login data and set synchronization between my devices. Nevertheless, the continuous quality of Brave’s results gives me the last push I need to fully go from Chrome. The only use that I still have for Chrome are the store results, because Brave has not indexed so many local stores for specific products. For most of my search needs, Brave proves the better option, especially when it comes to AI compensation.
