Winning the award in consecutive months is a duplicate of what an older brother is Lane Hutson achieved in the first two months of the 2022-2023 season.
Nationally, Hutson, October’s National Defenseman of the Month, is the points leader among blueliners with a mark of 7-11-18. His average time on ice of 26:28 is the highest for any D1 skater.
In just 54 career games, Hutson has totaled 66 points (21g, 45a); only Lane (68 points) has scored more points in his first 54 games as an NCAA defenseman since at least 2004-05.

Looking ahead
►For 2027 NTDP U18 forward and BU recruit
Jamie lookit was a November to remember. In a nine-game stretch that included the Five Nations tournament in Sweden and the two-game CHL-USA Prospects Challenge, he generated 14 points (6G,8A) of his season total of 19, which is second among the U18s. Between the two tournament events, the PuckPreps 4.5-⭐️ expectation scored five points in a win against Chicago Steel.
A 5’10 right wing from Stratham, NH, he scored three goals (tied for the team lead) and assisted on two more in four games in Sweden, earning a strong review from McKeen’s Hockey.
He showed impressive vision on his passing and really could have scored more points. His edge work jumped off the page, as did his patience and smarts with the puck, allowing him to attack the play consistently. He tied Berchild and Sammy Nelson for the team lead in scoring chances (11) and again tied Berchild for the team lead in passes to the slot (6).
Where his biggest impact came from, however, was in the transition game. He led the team in zone entries by a fairly wide margin, with 32. The next closest was Berchild at 20. Simply an excellent tournament for the 2027 eligible winger.
Glance recorded a goal and an assist in each of the Prospect Challenge games and a total of seven shots on goal. He was a prominent play driver throughout the event.
