The biggest news for the Hurricanes heading into the break is Seth Jarvis joining Team Canada. Originally left off the roster, Jarvis was added as a late injury replacement for Brayden Point of the Tampa Bay Lightning.

In their final game, they concluded the pre-Olympic schedule with a 2-0 shutout victory over the New York Rangers at Madison Square Garden on Thursday, February 5.
