Vaughan, 21, plays back with the development team. He still has to play this season for the first team under Sergej Jakirovic.

The Republic of Ireland Youth International is from the contract at the end of the campaign. He will become a free agent next year while things are standing.

The Tigers run the risk of losing him for free in June if he does not tear an extension in the meantime. That is why they must start weighing his options prior to the coming January transfant star.

Former Hull City boss Ruben Selles told Hullive Earlier this year he tried to sign him when he was reading: “I know him. I tried to get him for reading in the last transfer window, and I think he is a player with potential. He has the quality. He has had an impact in the game, and I can make him an impact and be an important player for us.”

Hull City should borrow Harry Vaughan

Hull City is well stored with options in the position of Vaughan. HCAFC has other players at their disposal, such as Joe Gelhardt, Liam Millar, Mohamed Belloumi and David Akintola, among other things.

That is why his opportunities to break into their starting XI slim. The tigers have to lend him this winter.

Vaughan would benefit from getting some playing time under his belt. He must test himself more at senior level and that would stimulate his development.

He can only come to another football competition team until the next window is opened. However, he still has the opportunity to fall into the National League for a few months, which would not be a bad move. He would be regular minutes guaranteed in the fifth level.

Hull City Last about Harry Vaughan

Hull City will consider what to do with Vaughan. If he left HCAFC on a temporary, this may help to place himself in the shop window.

The man born in Manchester got up via the Academy Rank on Oldham Athletic. He was a fixture for the Latics at different youth levels as a young person.

Vaughan then played 40 games and walked in with two goals and four assists. He was also lent from Boundary Park to Radcliffe in Non-League.

Although he has shown a glimpse of promise, he was unable to get a regular run in the Hull City team. That does not mean that his tiger career is over in any way, but a loan room in the not so distant future would probably suit all parties involved.

The men of Jakirovic are back in action this weekend with an away game to Watford. They won the previous time-out 3-1 against Southampton and are only two points of the play-offs.
