Harness Racing New South Wales (HRNSW) is delighted to announce a considerable $ 3 million partnership with leading Agribusiness and horse sales company Nutrien AG Solutions for three years.

From May 2026 this milestone partner will see the Running of the Nutrien Juvenile series for two-year-old and three-year-old Pacers and Trotters, in Riverina Paceway.

The Nutrien Juvenile series offers considerable Prizemoney and opportunities for young horses. This compliments the flowering racing landscape of NSW of Elite Youth -Focused Programs, including the Bathurst Gold Crown Series, as well as the Nutrien Equine NSW Breeders Challenge Series, which further confirms as the national leader in youth harness races.

Nutrien Equine director Mark Barton welcomes this new collaboration and emphasizes its importance for the future of sport.

“Nutrien and HRNSW are strategically aligned, and we believe that this commitment is demonstrating our belief in the Harness Races industry in NSW in the long term,” said Barton.

“This series is about giving breeders, owners and trainers a greater incentive and more opportunities to compete with their young horses at the highest level.”

HRNSW Chief Executive Officer Peter Buckman praised the collaboration as a determining step forward in the construction of sustainability and commercial partnerships.

“Nutrien is a long -standing proponent of Harness Races and a respected partner for the horse community,” said Buckman.

“We share the same values – integrity, innovation and a focus on the future.

“This partnership not only strengthens our strategic direction, but it also shows that large business organizations want to deal with our sport in meaningful ways.

“The Nutrien Juvenile series will be a flagship event in Regional NSW, and HRNSW strives to support it with the same energy and focus as our carnival of Bekers-Het combining world-class racing with real community celebration.”

As part of this strategic partnership, HRNSW will offer the series, including Prime Minister on-course event entertainment on the flagship Finals Night, to make contact with the Riverina community and to attract a wider audience.

The Wagga Harness Racing Club, long recognized as an important location within the Australian Harness Racing, will serve as the guest location for the Nutrien series, which positions Wagga as a hub for Elite Youth Competition.

Further details, including the full racing schedule, access conditions and entertainment will be announced in the coming months.
