Each product is screened by a maximum of four expert assessors and must achieve a minimum score of 7 out of 10 on the strict assessment scale of Fairway Jockey.
That scale is clearly recorded, so that golfers know exactly what they get. A club with a club 7 (good) will have seen 20 to 40 rounds and show normal wear or scratches, but it remains in solid gaming condition. An 8 (very good) only indicates 10 to 20 rounds, with only minimal wear and perhaps a single sign. And a 9 (like new) is reserved for clubs that have fewer than five game rounds and are almost indistinguishable from brand new.
