How the CEO of Nutrition Solutions uses brutal honesty to stimulate health and fitness change – muscle and fitness

To give these customers the extra motivation they need, Cavallini believes in the use of a controversial tactic: fat shame.

It is important to clarify what exactly he means by ‘thick shame’.

Cavallini does not suggest that his audience will be online and posts hateful comments under photos of someone who is overweight. On the contrary, his Big Shaming brand serves a specific motivating goal, and he can indicate various historical situations in which it has worked.

“Shame, when used correctly, creates clarity,” he explains. “The Spartans and Macedonians are two of the most respected, dominant old warrior cultures in history. Both used shame to stimulate honor and action in their soldiers. That also applies to every branch of our army.”

Many people stay in their comfort zones for so long that they are sugged in a sense of security. Their own apologies (or affirmations of Sugarcoated from others) make it easy to stay there. When they come to Cavallini for advice and guidance, they are not always ready to confront the reality of their lives.

“My goal is to help people see and understand what is possible when they stop making apologies and start taking action,” he says. “Sometimes transformation starts with the truth that hurts. But if you lean in it, that truth can change your life.”

The coaching strategy of Cavallini emphasizes discipline, hard work and a non -repellent striving for excellence. His approach is not based on shame or spot. He simply acknowledges that for some customers it needs a hard dose of reality to start their journey to wellness.

Detractors can say that Cavallini’s emphasis on physical fitness and transformation is only vanity with a different name. However, he sees it as anything but.

“Your body tells the world a story. It is a billboard of your lifestyle,” he says. “We all have to decide which story we want to share. Is it one of low standards, no self -control, laziness and a lack of discipline? Or is it one in strength, trust, consistency and capacity?”

To make this kind of critical choice, one must be able to view a hard, honest look in themselves. It can be difficult, but if a customer is committed to changing, Cavallini promises that the effort will be worthwhile.

“That kind of consciousness, yes, it sticks. But sometimes pain is the only thing that cuts through the noise,” he explains. “And that Angel? That is what change inspires.”

But what happens after that first sting of shame? To absorb really thick shaming as a tool (and not only to use it as an excuse for swinging insults), coaches must have a clear plan for follow-through for every customer. For Cavallini, the most important facet of that plan is accountability.

“I don’t just give people motivation,” he says. “I give them clear, usable steps and accountability. A lack of accountability is one of the main reasons why most people never continue and achieve their goals.”

Everyone who is familiar with Nutritional Know that Cavallini emphasizes the importance of rigorous training and disciplined food. However, there is another factor that, according to him, makes the really excellent distinction.

“The difference between the people who succeed and those who stop always comes down to mindset, and specifically, to radical responsibility,” says Cavallini. “That’s what we coach. That is what we learn. And that’s why it works.”

It is not surprising that some others in the industry believe that the approach of Cavallini is too hard, even offensive, but that does not bother him.

“If there is something, that discomfort is a sign that something has to change,” he says. “My job is not to protect feelings. My job is to help people get results. There is no other company in our industry that is somewhere near the number of customer transformations that we do. Not even close. I am not here for everyone, I am here for those who are serious.”

You can or may not agree with Cavallini’s approval of thick shame in a coaching context. But like it or not, however, this controversial tactic is part of a strategy that ultimately helps Nutritional Customers achieve goals that they had never thought possible.

“People don’t like to hear it, but the key to endless growth in life is to blame everything,” says Cavallini. “When someone stops their genetics, their job, their past, their children, etc., and starts to accept full responsibility, they stop becoming a victim and the architect of their lives are becoming.”
