- 🎧 The three items on the agenda are Covid -vaccines, hepatitis B -vaccines for children and the MMRV vaccinewho relates to measles, mumps, rubella and chickenpox, says Pien Huang of NPR First on. Health experts are worried that when the committee votes, they could Recommend limits that would make it more difficult For people to receive the Covid shots. The Hepatitis B and MMRV vaccines have been given to children for years and questions seemed to have been arranged about them. But the committee has been worried about them. Lakshmi Panagiotakopoulos, a former civil servant of CDC vaccine, says: “This is established science they attack.”
- ➡️ Yesterday, former CDC director Susan Monarez witnessed that she was being fired for resisting pressure from health secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. To approve vaccine recommendations for the public and fire brigade scientists in advance. This is what else she said in her testimony.
The Federal Reserve yesterday reduced the interest rates with a quarterly percentage. The decision should make it a bit cheaper to get a car loan or to wear a balance on your credit card. The move comes when FED policy makers are confronted with constant pressure from the White House to lower the interest rates.
- 🎧 The Fed is worried that people who have lost their jobs have a hard time finding work. This could push the unemployment rate higher over time. Lower interest rates are one way to fight some fed officials fear Could happen with the labor market, says NPR’s Scott Horsley. However, it is still a balance act as inflation, which the central bank usually fights with higher interest rates, remains higher than the FED would like.
ABC announced yesterday that it was suspended indefinitely Jimmy Kimmel Live! From the sky. The decision follows for a return against Kimmel for comments he made this week about the murder of conservative activist Charlie Kirk. The network took the sudden action after the chairman of the Federal Communications Commission had threatened the federal action against the stations wearing the show.
- 🎧 The monologue of Kimmel on Monday took Priks to President Trump, so that he ran his apparently indifferent response to the foreground on the questions of a reporter about Kirk’s murder. What was really upset was what he said before, says NPR’s Mandalit del Barco. Kimmel stated that Maga tried to characterize the suspect in the case as something other than one of them and did something to score political points. On social media, Trump congratulated ABC on removing the Kimmel show and insisted at NBC to cancel Jimmy Fallon and Seth Meyers’ Late-Night Shows.
- ➡️ Why was Kirk killed? The shooting has unleashed a fringe of finger. But the politics of the suspect is perhaps less clear than some say. Here is the complicated image that paints the evidence.

TeleHealth comes with a sense of convenience for those who use it: you can make appointments within a few hours after care needed and you can talk to a doctor from the comfort of your house. It can also be beneficial for people who live in the countryside without medical services in the area. But there can be some disadvantages. TeleHealth agreements come up with unexpected costs. For medical conditions that are not easy, there may be more advantages for the search for a personal doctor. If you are considering trying online doctors, there are a few things to keep in mind:
- 🩺 Video books can be a useful way to evaluate sick children and skin and nail infections. But these visits can be complicated for people who are not so technologically smart.
- 🩺 TeleHealth does not work for disorders that require physical examination, such as joint pain or procedures such as receiving vaccinations.
- 🩺 If you do not have a clear diagnosis, it is often worthwhile to meet a doctor personally. Real-life visits can be more thorough and doctors can learn about your condition through observation and a physical examination.
- 🩺 Many TeleHealth providers provide specialized care for sensitive issues, such as hormone therapy for menopause. If your regular doctor is not comfortable to treat something like that, some TeleHealth experts can give you quick access.
