The successor of the TW767 driversThe TW777 series features two of the same three designs, with Standard and Max retained in the new release.

With the launch of the 360Ti there is now also a mini driver option, which features a smaller club head and adds to the modern trends for mini drivers.

While no design details have been revealed, Honma added the Standard, MAX and 360Ti models to the USGA Conforming List in October 2025, ahead of an official launch for the 2026 series.

Honma TW777 Driver Specifications and Design

The Honma TW777 is the standard driver of the series, with this model being the successor to the TW767 and designed to provide a balance between forgiveness, accuracy and distance.

The TW777 is again equipped with a 460cc head and is the all-round performer in the range. It is expected to have Honma’s highest ever moment of inertia (MOI).

The head is expected to be constructed from a mixture of titanium and carbon, from the crown to the sole, in a similar design to the TW767 version.

The previous generation’s MOI exceeded 10,000 for the first time in both vertical and horizontal directions, and that level of forgiveness is expected to be further improved in this model.

The design details on the Conforming List show that the face has been redesigned with a Vertical Slit Face using Beta Titanium for a larger sweet spot and increased ball speed.

The driver features a new adjustable weight distribution with one weight on the rear sole and another weight behind the face that can be swapped out to customize the setup.

Also part of the driver design is Honma’s patented non-rotary adjustment system, which allows the loft, lie and face angle to be precisely adjusted without turning the shaft.

The TW777 is available in 9-degree and 10.5-degree loft options with an adjustable hose that provides loft, lie and angle adjustability.

Honma TW777 MAX driver specifications and design

The MAX was a new model in the TW767 series and has been retained in the TW777 as a more forgiving and game-improving option than the standard model.

The MAX also has a 460cc head, but notably has undergone a significant change in design setup, with two adjustable sole weights added to the latest generation.

The TW777 has both heel and toe weights that can be swapped to create the perfect setup, whether that’s neutral, draw or fade settings.

The Carbon Roll Technology design has been retained and features a one-piece titanium-carbon construction from crown to sole with reduced weight in the center section of the club.

The Vertical Slit Face feature is also incorporated into the MAX’s design, providing a larger sweet spot and more forgiveness across the face.

The TW777 MAX is available in loft options of 9 degrees, 10.5 degrees and 12 degrees. The adjustable hose also allows for up to four degrees of adjustment.

Honma TW777 360Ti Mini Driver Specifications and Design

A new addition to the series, the Honma TW777 360Ti driver is a mini driver with a smaller head, designed for advanced players and premium performance seekers.

Like the other models, this version features a multi-material construction using both titanium and carbon, and is designed for maximum speed, forgiveness and adjustability.

The big difference with the TW777 360Ti driver is that it has a compact 360cc club head and falls under the “mini driver” option.

The driver has three adjustable sole weights for complete setup customization. Choose to place heavier weights in the toe, heel, or back position.

Launched as lofted at just 11.5 degrees, it features Honma’s non-rotary adjustment system to adjust ball flight, without turning the shaft.

Honma TW767 Drivers Review: Are They Any Good?

Honma broke new ground with the TW777 series and has done so again with the new TW777 series, which includes improved models and a completely new design.

The Standard remains a great all-round player with many advantages when it comes to distance, accuracy off the tee and forgiveness.

The second generation of the MAX driver is all about high initial ball speed, low spin and the highest forgiveness of the entire series.

The newcomer to the TW777 range is the 360Ti, a stylish mini driver that is Honma’s first foray into that sector. You can opt for the compact club instead of your fairway woods.
