A house with four bedrooms at 7 Dunsmore RD, Highton, sold for $ 829,000 at an auction.
Highton house owners who have given their home of 32 years a complete once-over before they went to the market will run away after sitting down an auction bonus of $ 30,000.
Their residence with four bedrooms at 7 Dunsmore RD sold for $ 829,000, because three bidders put a hand for the 699 m² real estate at the Saturday auction.
Buxton Highton -agent Anthony Greco said the owners had completed a cosmetic make -over from their brick veneer -house before they offer it for sale.

He said that work contributed to the selling price about the ODDS.
“We had 78 people for the campaign, which was great for the owner,” said Mr Greco.
“We probably had six, maybe seven registered bidders on the day and only got three bidders.
“We quoted $ 740,000 to $ 790,000 and the suppliers had a realistic reserve, so it was also on the market early.”
Mr Greco said that the market approved the Turnkey character of the house for which the owners paid $ 127,000 in 1993.
Fresh white interiors include new carpet, blinds and paint.
“It was just a good family house, you know Turnkey, nothing to do, but then you have the potential on the track to renovate.
“It is pretty attractive for that young buyer market of the first home, as well as with the people with a few children. That was a lot of the feedback I received through the campaign.”
Greco said that young professional buyers have protected their first home at the auction.
The house is close to Porter Ave shops and offered an inviting prospect with crispy white interiors, modern finishes and large paved outdoor space that look over the deep back garden.
The kitchen has stone bank sheets, quality equipment, including a 600 mm wall oven, gas hob and a dishwasher.
“The people who owned the house had been there for more than 30 years,” he said.
“In the past six to 12 months they gave it a bit of a cosmetic update – new carpets, new blinds, new paint and it makes that difference in what buyers are looking for.
“They like to walk to a home where they go:” You don’t have to do anything “.
And in terms of structural it was also perfect.
The bathrooms are equipped with floor to ceiling tiles.
“That was the part of the market where people like to stretch a little further to get that product because you don’t have to do anything.”
The sale came at a suitable moment, because improved trust after a third interest in 2025 brought more buyers to the market.
Highon has a median house price of $ 885,000, according to proptrack data that reveals an increase of 5.2 percent in the last three months.
