Talented young players have attended their first training camp in the new Hopes program of England.
Previously known as futures, the program has been renamed it to bring it into line with the International Hopes Program And ensure a clear path of progression for talented young players.
England hopes the first English national team activity for which players can be invited and are for players in the U13 -age group.
The main goal of the program is to produce players who win international medals in the U13 age category and show potential to continue to Elite programs.

A total of 28 players were selected for the program, although the exact number of involved number will vary during the season as the individual needs of players change and new talents arise.
They will be in two groups-a development group for the youngest members of the cohort, the nine-to-11 year olds and the most important group for older, more experienced players who are able to train about longer camping per dates.
The group will meet for around 40-50 days of camp activity per year, but can be more if players are selected for international events.
The first training camp was held last month, led by headhoop coach Charlotte Carey, and supported by Ben Barlow, Olly Tyndall and various spar partners at a high level.
In addition, England hopes as a feeder for players to be selected for European hope camps – there are currently three camps in Europe every year, where players get the chance to be selected for the Europeans training program. The Dimitar Dimitrov of England is currently in the Eurotalent program.
