I really loved this documentary. The pace is high, something always happens, and nothing feels long -hooded or repeating. Galliano’s life and career are worth the two hours of the implementation – it is really intense and fascinating from start to finish.
Because my best friend is a Jew and my father was an alcoholic, I can understand both sides of the event that led to the decline of John, but my opinion differs from many others around him. I have always had a hard time forgiving errors under the influence of alcohol, because the choice to drink is from the start – and this also applies to my own mistakes.
Despite the decline, which is a central part of the documentary, we can follow a journey that is both incredible and moving.
If you still have time during the holidays, I really recommend seeing it – you will not be disappointed.
