You couldn’t have script better for hidden talent (Bacardi Lindy) In the Temuka Transport Limited Kurow Trotters Cup of today in Oamaru.
The six -year -old mare shared the 40 -meter handicap with Jimmy Carter, so she gave almost all her rivals a good lead in the 2600 meter function -trave.
The six -year -old mare was back early with the roughly armed rocket that made the pace.

“It worked great,” Williamson said and added: “She is well won and comes back in good shape. I thought she might need the run today.”
After showing talent as a young horse that Williamson says that the now six -year -old has finally grown up.
“She has been a bit weak, but she now looks like a mare.”
Punters was told through trackside that hidden talent was in the season for today’s race, but Williamson was not worried.
“She went in the season all week. We thought yesterday she was doing well, but once this morning the races arrived where she was still hot. She had worked so well all week, so it didn’t worry me too much.”
Hidden Talent now goes to Addington and racet in the Order -Al Cup and then starts in the DG Jones/Banks Trotting Cup peninsula.
Williamson says that hidden talent was also nominated for the November Dominion Handicap.
“It is now a better system because you don’t have to keep paying (installments). That makes a lot of difference. Hopefully she can get up the ranking and get there. She is now in that class and there is nowhere to hide. So she has to come up.”
Hidden Talent has only had twenty -nine starts for four seasons.
“She used to be talented early. Because of the spring as a four -year -old, she did things wrong and didn’t really use herself. It was a little bit the same last spring and it cost the summer to show how good she was again. She is a greater strong mare than she has been before.“
Williamson had a number of talented troubling mares because of his stable, including Dark Horse and Poppymalda.
“Dark Horse had ultra -skill and Poppymalda had the all -round game, but she was virtue. I’m not going to hit her (hidden talent), but I think those other mares might have had a touch more class.”
In the meantime, Williamson was happy with the Run of Dreams are free in today’s Kurow Pacing Cup.
“He felt great and really came back. It is just the standing start. I think he was a bit fresh. He was recently fresh during the training sessions, and he missed away. He certainly felt strong at the end, what a good sign was in the future. If he had had a run, it would have been interesting because I would never have been full.”
Dreams are free will also travel to Addington and racing in Order Cup Night.
“If he goes really well there, we can look at him in one of the big races.”
When they are pressed on a start in the IRT Nieuw -Zeelandse Cup, Williamson says that the call will be made in the coming days.
