The Karnataka natives came forward with the opinion that there are other bowlers who are as good as Rashid which makes him a bit faded than before. He further advised the GT management to take care of Rashid’s workload ahead of the upcoming IPL season and give some more responsibilities to Washington Sundar and R Sai Kishore.
“I think the novelty of Rashid Khan has worn off a bit. There are a lot of similar bowlers available now, so he is not as intimidating as before. His workload needs to be managed better along with bowlers like Sai Kishore. Even Rahul Tewatia and Washington Sundar can contribute more for GT this season,” Kumble said via JioStar.
GT needs to focus on their batting: Irfan Pathan
