Here’s how many Shiba Inu (SHIB) tokens were burned in November

The record day was November 26, when more than a third of monthly burns occurred.

The burning mechanism is one such element, with the SHIB team and community destroying millions of tokens last month.

The exact numbers

According to data from ShibaBurnTracker, there were 248 burn transactions in November (8.27 per day), for a total of approximately 163 million SHIBs permanently sent to a zero address. The record date was November 26, when more than 60 million coins were withdrawn from circulation.

While the numbers may sound significant, their USD equivalent is still negligible, meaning the meme coin price may need much bigger efforts in that area to move north.

The program was introduced in 2022 and since then a total of 410.75 trillion tokens have been scorched, leaving 585.26 trillion coins in circulation.

Another key metric that could impact SHIB’s valuation is the asset’s net alternating current. Earlier today, the number of coins stored on centralized platforms dropped to around 81.2 trillion, representing the lowest level since spring 2021. This move signals an exodus from exchanges to self-management methods, which is considered bullish as it reduces immediate selling pressure.

Price predictions

Despite the slump in recent months, some analysts remain optimistic that a rebound could be knocking on the door. X user $SHIB KNIGHT recently described the meme coin as one of “the strongest tokens” on the market.

As of this writing, SHIB is trading around $0.000008032, down 90% from the ATH observed at the end of 2021. And while the crypto world often surprises, a rally of this magnitude in the next four weeks seems rather unrealistic.
