Sean O’Malley returned to winning ways at UFC 324 against Song Yadong, snapping his two-fight losing skid.
In tonight’s bantamweight co-headliner, Yadong looked for a fight-ending punch in Round 1, and in the meantime he also took down ‘Suga’ a few times and worked up the former champion’s lead leg with good inside leg kicks.
In the second round, O’Malley was unable to land anything significant and his right leg appeared compromised. In the third and final round, however, ‘Suga’ turned the tide in his favor and responded with nice counters and right connections.
After 15 minutes, Sean O’Malley scored a unanimous decision victory closely disputed fight.

Fans and the MMA world reacted to Sean O’Malley’s victory. Many felt that O’Malley did not do enough to secure the victory, with Song Yadong outsmarting him in terms of output, takedowns and overall damage.
