We have developed a prototype dashboard that wants to help organizations maintain complex systems of inter-dependent software components. Our first Prototype Organizational Dashboard Offers insights into code contributions, their repositories and maintenance status and needs. The prototype -dashboard shows data for the three related Github organizations, recapture” epiverseAnd Epivers-traceAll of which develop and host open-source software for understanding and analyzing epidemics. We want to develop the current prototype as a template for adoption and adjustment by other open-source organizations.
Organizational overview sections of the most important prototype dashboard page.

Interactive network diagram connection packages in the organization.
The primary goal of the dashboard is to help all people involved in, or interested in, or those epidemic organizations or crop, by giving an organization-wide overview of the state of code repositories and the community activity that supports them.
Help our dashboard to design and develop!
We seek help with the further design and development of our Prototype Organizational DashboardBoth for the organizations that could be seen there, and more in general for a planned Ropenci-wide dashboard. You can help us by giving suggestions for all the ways you think Prototype Organizational Dashboard Can be improved. If you contribute to or maintain an R package, we mainly want to hear about all the ways in which the dashboard can be made useful for you. Make comments in this blog post, or via or discussions in the corresponding Github -Repository. Do you want to give private feedback? No worries, e -mail me directly.
A few notes
- The dashboard is built on a huge wealth of data, so assume that all the data you can come up with from full GIT logs and Github APIs are and can already be used there.
- This data includes time series of most measured things, although many are only presented as snapshots of the last period.
- Given those 2 points, the biggest challenge is to reduce this data to a minimum meaningful amount.
Thank you!
