The 4th annual back-to-school Giveaway for Robla Elementary School District was held on 2 August.
Every year Morton Golf Foundation works together with the Optimist of Country Club to give away adidas shoes, socks and underwear. Six different primary schools of the Robla School District are invited to get ready for their coming school year. The families enjoy their time to visit various other non-profit organizations, First Tee-Greater Sacramento, Sacramento Library, School Health Nurse and Playmakers, to name just a few.
More than 60% of primary school students are not -thuis. If they have not made it for today’s giveaway, they can contact their teacher in the hope that a remaining couple will be used all year round.
This day has an impact on everyone; A jacket away was added during the Christmas season to offer a winter heat for everyone.
This was a very profound day that stays with you if you know you make a difference.
I can’t wait to do it all over again.
