Dish

Ingredients

  • 1 cup (240 ml) unsweetened almond milk (or macadamia, cashew or hazelnut milk)
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon, plus extra for dusting
  • ⅛ tsp ground ginger
  • Pinch of ground cloves (about half a teaspoon scoop)
  • ¼ teaspoon sugar-free vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 pack of Chocolate Toku Flow (rich in nattokinase, a heart-healthy enzyme)
  • ¼ cup (60 ml) heavy whipping cream, whipped to serve

  1. Pour the almond milk into a small saucepan. Add cinnamon, ginger, cloves, vanilla and salt.
  2. Heat gently over medium heat until steaming and just beginning to foam, then remove from heat.
  3. Add Chocolate Toku Flow to a mug. Pour in the hot spiced milk and stir well, or use a milk frother for a creamier texture.
  4. Finish with whipped cream and a layer of cinnamon. Serve hot and enjoy.
