Tempe, Ariz. – The collegiate tennis season of autumn will come up with the start of the 24th annual HBCU National Tennis Championships, where men’s and women’s programs of nine conferences will meet in the South Fulton Tennis Center in Atlanta from 18-21 September.

Singles Play will be held every morning, while the double game starts at 5 p.m. EST for the first three days of action. National champions in singles, Doubles and team game will be crowned after completing the tournament on Sunday afternoon.
The singles tournament is split into three separate flights (A, B, C), while double play is separated into two flights (A, B). Results of both individual tournaments will contribute to the team classification.
On Friday evening, USTA Southern organizes the HBCU Alumni Red Ball Tennis Mixer Start at 6 pm Est. In addition to food, music and prizes, the school with the most registered participants receives a donation of $ 1,000 to their tennis program.

About the HBCU National Championships
The HBCU National Tennis Championship offers schools the opportunity to compete in a tournament during the autumn season to make players meet, compete and be crowned national champions at the end of the tournament, both individual and as teams. Every year more than 30 HBCU tennis programs for men and women and nearly 250 student athletes in both singles and Doubles compete.
