Former Victorian Prime Minister Ted Baillieu sells his Hawthorn Mansion with a breathtaking asking price of $ 9m- $ 9.9 million.
Mr Baillieu became prime minister when the liberal party won the 2010 elections and held the office until he was replaced in 2013 by Denis Napthine.
Prior to his position at the top of the state of the state, he was already the vice president of the Liberal Party in 1987 and became party leader in 1994.

Mr Baillieu won a chair as a member of parliament for the 1999 state elections for the first time.
In the same year he stepped away from political life and subsequently played a role as the honorary doctorate of Melbourne University for the Faculty of Architecture, Construction and Planning-as a result of his pre-politics career as an architect.

“The only reason we have decided to sell is that it is time for the next adventure, and not an easy choice because we have been keeping it for 27 years and still doing it,” said Mr. Baillieu.
“It is a special house that has given us constant magical moments.
“We will thoroughly miss the house, the energy and emotions that can set up this incredible view and the viewpoint above Melbourne in you at any time of the day, throughout the year throughout the year.”
The former prime minister noted that the golden glow that the house had during dawn, and the evening sky while the sun undergoes under the skyline of the city, would always stay with them.
“We have loved our time here and will miss the magical moments, happiness and good memories that we have experienced and made with family and friends, but we think it is time to enable another growing family to fill the house,” he said.
Set on Hawthorn Hill, is the name of the building, Cardinia, appropriate in view of the love of Mr Baillieu for the Geelong cats.

The address has been a large number of immense political power for decades, but still feels domestic.
