Charlottetown, PE – Hatchling (Shade) On Thursday evening, a mild harness racing upset in the Gary Smith Memorial at Red Shores Racetrack and Casino in the Charlottetown Driving Park.

Hatching ($ 17.50) was second in the Gary Smith Memorial in Race 1 of the Night and got PaceCetter in no pepper (driven by Gilles Barrieau) in 1: 57.1. Marc Campbell supplied the winning steering for trainer Landon Campbell and owners Michael Goldberg and Shirley Symes.
Race 4 had Supreme Rockette ($ 5.20) winning the Drew Power Memorial Drot in a 1: 58.2 miles from the Mike McGuigan Stable for owner Jamie Whaen van Avondale. Gilles Barrieau was in the racing bike when the three -year -old Trot Filly beat Curadh (Ryan Desroche) and Oceanview Daisy (Myles Heffernan Sr.).
The Enid Morrison Memorial in Race 5 had Sagali ($ 6.40), in line with Corey Macpherson, at the top with a 1:57 bells for trainer Phil Kelly and owner the Sagali Six Stable from Charlottetown. Sleep over (Jason Hughes) Second Created Second about UbettiGoodone (Jaycob Sweet).
