Charlottetown, PE – Hatchling (Shade) On Thursday evening, a mild harness racing upset in the Gary Smith Memorial at Red Shores Racetrack and Casino in the Charlottetown Driving Park.

Hatching ($ 17.50) was second in the Gary Smith Memorial in Race 1 of the Night and got PaceCetter in no pepper (driven by Gilles Barrieau) in 1: 57.1. Marc Campbell supplied the winning steering for trainer Landon Campbell and owners Michael Goldberg and Shirley Symes.
