A smart ride from Danielle Hill was the meaningful factor in Hasty Bid (Bettors Delight) that led completely in the $ 25,000 South Australia Harness Racing Club 4 & 5 -year final on Globe Derby on Saturday evening.
Hasty Bid had put writing on the wall when he finished in his heat after leading a good second of Hezarockinroyalty. However, he pulled the pole in the final and with a favorable trekking parters, hastily installed a sturdy favorite. Hezarockinroyalty, on the other hand, was drawn in the second row and that was considered a problem against his chances.
Happy offer on September 20 re -play
Hasty Bid was able to keep Clarendon Tribute behind the leader with Buzz Bomb. Delightful Tammy let a lightning run around the field from behind to go outside the leader, but did not put pressure on the hasty bid that could dictate the conditions of the race.
Hezarockinroyalty was one out and two back, but in the back the straight Hill released the brakes and the hasty bid cleared away with a winning break. Hezarockinroyalty started to take up terrain when they rectify, but he had given too big a start and held a hasty offer to win a little more than two meters. Delicious Tammy who had to race outside the leader looked well beaten on the last corner, but she fought determined to keep the third.
Hasty Bid is trained by David Harding for his owner Lachlan Cormack and the gelding assessed 1.59.2 for the 2240 meters.

Hasty Bid’s Dam Cyclone Charlie was a useful mare that mainly won five races in the west of New South Wales. Unfortunately she died and the hasty offer is her only living offspring.
It was an excellent initiative for South Australian Harness Racing to set this event with an attractive interest and it is hoped that the event can become an annual event. And it is only one month away for Globe Derby to have their big night when they will detect the South Australian Pacing Cup, South Australian Trotters Cup, the South Australia Derby and the Golden Nursery for two -year -olds on October 25. It will be a creaking evening for South Australian armor and it is hoped that there will be at least some interstate representation.
