India will miss the services of Hardik Pandya in the upcoming ODI series against Australia, from 19 October.

The all-rounder recovers from a left quadriceps injury that he picked up during the Asia Cup match against Sri Lanka. He also missed the final against Pakistan.

According to a report in Dainik Jagran, it is unlikely that Hardik will occur in the Three ODIs, but it could return to the Tour later in the Tour if he regains full fitness. The BCCI medical team will soon share an update about its condition.

During the Asia Cup -final, former India coach Ravi Shastri confirmed on comment that Hardik had injured his left quad, giving him out of the title collision. His absence against Australia is a big blow because it makes the balance of the team in the middle order and the bowling attack restless.

The schedule of India in Australia

The ODI series is played between 19 and 25 October in Perth, Adelaide and Sydney. Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli will probably return to the international cricket after seven months, which means that the series expects even more for fans.

After the ODIs, India will compete against Australia in a five-match T20i series from 29 October. Canberra, Melbourne, Hobart, Gold Coast and Brisbane will organize the competitions, with the Tour that ends on November 8.

The Indian team for both ODIs and T20Is is expected to be announced soon, with less than three weeks before the first game.
