1926 LBD meets 2026 LBD π€ Happy Hundred Years! I can’t believe it’s been a whole century since the conception of the little black dress.
Did you know that black dresses used to be reserved for domestic servants… or to indicate mourning? Like Queen Victoria wore black for the REST OF HER LIFE after her husband died.
And then came Chanel’s little black dress in 1926. Soon, women from all walks of life embraced the LBD. To celebrate 100 years, I think it’s time to create the LBD of active dresses.
Introducing the POPFLEX Skate the Day Away dress and the Skate the Night Away dress! Both versions of my activewear LBD use soft, stretchy fabric. I wanted a wide, sweetheart neckline, but don’t worry about the straps falling off your shoulders because that’s not going to happen. There is an adjustable bow tie at the back to prevent slipping. Plus it looks cute!
Obv I used a circle skirt with built-in anti-camel toe shorts with pockets.
SHOP DRESSES
Skate the day away is short sleeved and since I knew you would ask for a long sleeved version that became the Skate the Night Away dress. Both versions take you from court to date night without having to change outfits.
I wear them both in XS and I’m 1.75 meters!
Which one do you like better?
