Viktor Gyokeres jumped to defend the Sweden teammate Alexander Isak after his summer transferaaga who ended in his move to Liverpool.
Isak put Pen on paper for a six-year-old deal with the Premier League champions on Deadline Day and arrived in Anfield for a reported £ 125 million fee, which is a British transfer record.
The impasse of the 25-year-old with previous club Newcastle United was the story of the transfer window, with Isak banished from the Magpies team while he insisted on a move.
Isak suggested that Newcastle had broken promises about the possibility to leave, with his statement after Newcastle had rejected a first bid of £ 110 million from Liverpool.
Gyokees was also in a similar situation before he switched his £ 63.5 million (€ 73.5 million) to Arsenal of Sporting CP earlier this summer.
The Swede was confronted with disciplinary measures from his former club after he had not succeeded in training at the sport, while pushing a switch to the Premier League.
In response to a question about ‘player force’, after both strikers had insisted on their transfers, Gyokees insisted that not everyone gets his way.
“I congratulated Isak for the move,” said Gyokees. “I don’t really know the situation, so it’s hard for me to talk about that.
“If it is a player who is not desired in a club, I think this is the opposite. He has no power, the club can literally do what they want.”

Away from talking around their respective summer switches, Gyokeres was asked about his relationship with Isak prior to their upcoming World Cup qualification authorities.
Sweden will get their qualifying campaign going this Friday with a trip to Slovenia before he travels to Stadiumi Fadil Vokrri to hire Kosovo three days later.
Gyokeres has scored 15 goals in 26 performances for his country, a less than Isak, although the latter has appeared in exactly double the number of matches before Sweden.
Sweden did not qualify for the 2022 edition of the World Cup in Qatar, but Gyokees believes that the team has the quality to make up for this time.
“It is always good to have good players in the national team,” Gyokees added.
“Of course we want to reach the World Cup next year and if we have the best players available in the team, that will of course help.
“We played a few games together and felt good. He scored, I scored and we helped each other. I think it’s good to continue and improve more with the team.”
