The GWM ORA 5 has been leaked in an application from the Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), has been officially unveiled. The first new model of the ORA Submerk since 2022’s ORA 07, this electric SUV fills a gigantic hole in the EV-Line-up of GWM, in advance, surprisingly since the company is the company.
The ORA 5 looks a lot on a good cat on posts and has many of the design instructions of its smaller brother or sister, such as the egg -shaped headlights, organic surface and “Dawn” rear lights on the rear windshield design printed for a cleaner rear design. The car has also introduced the wide middle air inlet and vertical corner inlets on the facelifted Good cat.
However, the body of the ORA 5 is less rounded and the greenhouse (predictably garnished by roof rails) is also longer and more upright, so it does not share the same body as the hatch.
Inside, the ORA 5 again borrows much of the good cat, in particular the pill -shaped dashboard design and the switch switches under the middle air openings. But while the center console of the good cat takes on the shape of an island, the 5 -unity is more conventional, with a single smartphone holder (with a Qi wireless charger, of course) and space for two cup holders, an armrest, a single back air ventilation opening and a tray for rear storage.
According to the Facelifte Good Cat, the 5 uses the newest Coffee OS infotainment system from GWM, with a 10.25-inch digital instrument display and a touchscreen of 14.6 inch floating center. The car also has a 1.65-inch square meter panoramic glass roof that blocks 99% of UV light, a passenger seat with not only leaning back on 128 degrees but also an Ottoman and 33 storage spaces everywhere.
Chinese Automotive Portal Authento – which have also taken some of these photos – reports that the car is 4.471 mm long, 1.833 mm wide and 1.641 mm long with a wheelbase of 2,720 mm measures, making it almost 250 mm longer than the good cat around the same size as a BYD -Tto 3. Power (LFP) Motness.
