Gothenburg with children and teenagers: 21 tips about things to do
#1. Liseberg

We have half of the family on the west coast and regularly return. Although we go at regular intervals, it is still the “classics” that attract. In other words, it doesn’t matter how often we visit Liseberg, this amusement park is apparently never boring. It doesn’t matter how wild carousels my children go, I always want to end the day with a nice turn Labergshjulet. Perfect combination with a view of the entire city, a great pace and an opportunity to collect the family to talk today’s adventure.
Good to think for your visit to Liseberg:
- Pre -Purchse Entry and Pass! It’s cheaper to buy Entrance + Ride Pass online instead of blushing it on the site.
- Bring Picnick: It’s okay to bring your own lunch bag (although no barbecue feed). Water stations are also distributed in the park, for example in the Rabbit Country.
- Download the Liseberg app To see the queue times in real time, among other things.
- Don’t forget That Liseberg is also open during the autumn holidays/Halloween and during Christmas!

#4. Gothenburg Natural History Museum
I will continue with the given tips and quickly continue to natural history in Slottsskogen. This museum can call itself the oldest in Gothenburg. The biggest celebrity in the museum is probably the Malmska electionsThe world’s only “mounted blue whale”. During the late 19th century, this celebrity choice swam for a dense country and got stuck to a cut in Askimviken. The choices weighed around 25 tons (in the dimensions of Gothenburg it is as much as a tram) and was eventually brought to the museum where you could go into the interior of the whale to drink coffee. After an extensive renovation, the elections were eventually placed in the whale chamber where it is now found.
