Good news for XRP investors as Ripple struggles through a 24% monthly slump

XRP has rebounded in the past 24 hours after another violent Friday.

It’s safe to say that XRP, along with most of the cryptocurrency market, has been in a dire state in recent weeks, which was exacerbated on October 10 with a painful crash that was almost replicated a week later.

However, Ripple’s native token has recovered some ground from the low charted yesterday, and is now close to $2.40 after a daily increase of 4%.

Data shared by Santiment shows that long-term trends for the token remain positive as the number of medium to large stakeholders “continues to grow.” To be precise, wallets holding at least 10,000 tokens have reached a new all-time high of 317.5K, the analysis source said. Furthermore, the chart shows a consistent increase for almost a year, after a brief decline in late 2024.

Cobb presented yet more positive news for the XRP Army, this time in terms of the overall development of the network and the involvement of its meme coin ecosystem. The commenter noted that Ripple-based meme tokens have exploded in the past day.

Later Cobb explained that a whale had jumped into the XRP meme landscape by putting $1 million into blue-chip tokens.
