Hello friends and welcome to this week’s edition of the Rogers report, where we are very happy for Tommy Fleetwood and the fact that he has secured his first PGA Tour victory, but also very stressed for Keegan Bradley and all Big Ryder Cup decisions that he has to make this week.
Creeks with @Keegan_bradley He said some members of @Rydercupusa He told him that she wants him to become a play captain. He also said, “There will probably be a few boys who think they will be in the team that won’t be.” He added that phone calls are “terrible!” pic.twitter.com/pldcjy5w73

I would not Want to be the one who makes those phone calls. Good luck, Captain Bradley!
And now for a quick household note before we end up in the good things. We launched Golf 101 last week, a video series for everyone who is new in the golf space and wants to learn about it. We start with lessons on the Ryder Cup and will expand to etiquette, instruction, tournaments and more.
My favorite golf friendship
There are a dozen golf friendships that I absolutely love. I love what Dustin Johnson and Collin Morikawa had on earlier Ryder Cups. I love the way Shane Lowry Rory McIlroy embraced after his victory at the Masters earlier this year. I enjoy the fact that Scottie Scheffler and Sam Burns share a rental house on the road most weeks and I love to see Tiger Woods and communicate Justin Thomas on the golf course. However, my current favorite friendship in men’s professional wave is that of Justin Rose and Tommy Fleetwood.
The most healthy moments at PGA Tour events often come just before and after the last Putt drops, when the broadcast persuades to the pros who are stuck to see their friend win. On Sundays in East Lake, the Roses and Lowrys stood next to Fleetwood’s stepson, Oscar, and when their friend and Ryder Cup -Teammate welcomed his first PGA Tour -victory insured. It has not only secured the Fleetwood and Rose friendship as my current favorite, it soon became one of my favorite golf moments of the year.
I like to look at celebrities and professional athletes who record things on their own phone if it is obvious that there will be better images of the moment they record on social media, television and getty images. But Rose doesn’t matter. He did what the rest of us would do for a friend on the edge of their dream come true: capturing for his own memories. The best!
This felt just as good as winning! So happy for my husband @Tommyfletewood1 To endure the ruthless pressure cooker, his quality wave introduced it during these play -offs and there is no deserved more champion. 🏆 pic.twitter.com/swn6xtqbnb

Rose not only remained around to win Fleetwood, he Fleetwood’s family at home so that they could also celebrate. This is a bromance that I am completely doing.
Tommy f’ing fleetwood … legend

Okay last “I am obsessed by Fleetwood and Rose’s Friendship” post for the time being, but Rose is in Everton’s commentary that cancel his friend and it’s all so sweet pic.twitter.com/auddcok584

The pros respond to Fleetwood’s victory
Rose was not the only professional who shared how excited he was about Fleetwood’s victory. You can see when a player is worshiped by their colleagues when everyone enters to congratulate them, and that is exactly what happened on Sunday evening. He even received a congratulation -twice from Tiger Woods, which is almost as impressive as the victory itself.
Your journey is a memory that hard work, resilience and heart are bearing fruit. Nobody deserves it anymore. Congratulations @Tommyfletewood1!

The Instagram post from Fleetwood from East Lake is also flooded with comments from colleague -pro.
Golfers were not the only athletes who were tailored to Fleetwood’s victory on Sunday evening. LeBron James Live-Tweet a good part of the final round (please do not come for my job, lebron), and stars of other sports could also be in.
Congratulations and 🫡 @Tommyfletewood1!!! That first feeling is something else! Especially after dealing with adversity and shortcomings. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🏆

It is no surprise that everyone is happy for Fleetwood if you remember how positive he is about golf and life.
Social media respond to the victory of Tommy Fleetwood
And finally (and as always) there was a couple of excellent golf -twitter -capacity of Fleetwood’s victory at East Lake that I would be wrong to overlook.
Ohh look at me, I’m Tommy Fleetwood. I just won $ 10 million. And overcame my biggest obstacle. I am universally loved. I have an incredible perspective on the highlights and lows of life. Great hair too. LeBron cannot stop tweeting about me. Which man too

Freely told that Tommy Fleetwood handled the interview of his first PGA Tour winner with exactly the same sense of perspective and lightness that followed on every heartbreaking loss https://t.co/9R6WSPUG2
