Golden Knights and Eichel close to closing the 8 -year extension

According to TSN’s Pierre Lebrun, The Vegas Golden Knights and Superstar Forward Jack Eichel are about to complete a long -term expansion.

Lebrun noted on the most recent ‘Insider Trading’ segment of TSN that both Eichel and the team nerert an eight-year extension, with the final obstacle the annual average salary.

Lebrun reports:

“He (Eichel) does not want to go anywhere. His only focus is on drawing with the Vegas Golden Knights. The two parties that I told are really focused on an 8-year-old deal. So forget the idea to mimic McDavid and do a two-year deal. About this conversation.”

Jack Eichel Golden Knights Extension

A few days ago we cited a report from Elliote Friedman from Sportnet, who said Eichel is looking at a deal that would reflect the expected salary range of Edmonton Oilers -Superster Leon Draisaitl. That would mean that Eichel talks with the Golden Knights about a contract that would pay him somewhere near $ 14 million per season.

David Pagnotta from The fourth period Had previously reported that the term was the bottleneck between the two sides. If that has been worked out, it would be assumed that there will not be much more back and forth on the salary.
